Sylvia Geersen Assaulted, Wallet Stolen During Spain Holiday
Reality star Sylvia Geersen was left bruised after an altercation with a group of men while on holiday in Spain with her partner. The incident occurred after Geersen and her partner encountered a group of women who recognized her on a terrace, leading to a pleasant conversation.
according to Geersen, the evening took a turn when a group of seven men approached them and stood very close. She asked them to move away, a gesture she clarified was not intended as offensive, responding to online speculation about a perceived “gay hand” gesture.
The situation quickly escalated, with the men reportedly becoming verbally aggressive and appearing intoxicated. During the ensuing disturbance, Geersen’s bag fell to the ground, and her wallet containing 800 euros disappeared. She believes the wallet was stolen.
Police arrived at the scene but did not make any arrests or file charges. Geersen stated they are choosing to process the event privately for now.
“It was all so unneeded. We just wanted to have a nice evening, but it got completely out of hand,” Geersen said. She confirmed she sustained injuries, stating, “I’m covered in bruises from this evening. It was intense.”
Geersen expressed gratitude for the support of her partner, emphasizing their strong relationship. She appeared on The Bachelorette in 2023, and the next season of the show will feature Beate and Diva as they search for love.
