The latest episode of South Park has ignited controversy with its depiction of Donald Trump in bed with satan. In the episode, Satan remarks on the size of trump’s genitals, calling them “tiny.” The devil also suggests Trump’s name appears on the “Epstein list” and later shows an AI-generated video of Trump naked in a desert.Following the episode’s airing, a character named Cartman expresses concern about potential government censorship, lamenting, “The government cannot cancel that program. I mean, which one will be the next one to cancel?”
Paramount has not yet announced a premiere date for season 27 of South Park. However, this episode was released less than a day after the confirmation of a new $1.5 billion contract for an additional 50 episodes on the Paramount+ platform.
While Donald Trump has not personally commented on the episode, the White House has responded. A spokesperson,Taylor Rogers, described the episode to Rolling Stone as “fourth-rate television.” Rogers stated, “The hypocrisy of the left knows no bounds: thay have been criticizing South Park for years for its supposed offensive content, and now they celebrate it. Like the creators of the series, the left has no authentic or original content,so its popularity is at ancient lows. This program has not been relevant for more than 20 years and continues with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt to attract attention. President Trump has fulfilled more promises in just six months than any othre president in the history of our country – and no fourth-rate program will stop his streak.”
Following this provocative season 27 premiere, it remains to be seen whether the remaining 49 episodes will be broadcast.
