JAKARTA, RADARKAUR.CO.ID – The government is conducting a review of Pertamina fuel prices. Currently the revision of Pertamina’s fuel price reduction is aimed at 4 types of non-subsidised fuel.
The four types of unsubsidized fuel examined include Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite and Pertamina Dexlite.
Pertamina’s fuel price revision, as communicated by Pertamina Patra Niaga’s corporate secretary Irto Ginting, is partly due to the decline in global crude oil prices.
It is possible that the Pertamina fuel price revision will be announced in early 2023.
In addition to revising the price of Pertamina’s unsubsidised fuel, the government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources will launch a new fuel regulation covering restrictions on the purchase of Pertamina’s subsidized fuel.
The new fuel regulations relating to diesel and Pertalite subsidies revise Presidential Decree no. 191 of 2014 on the supply, distribution and retail price of fuels.
The new regulation on subsidized fuels will regulate the criteria for users of subsidized fuels distributed by Pertamina.
So starting in 2023, it will no longer be possible to buy diesel and perthalite. There are procedures that will be adjusted based on the results of the Perpres review at a later date.

Arrangements for the purchase of diesel and pertalite as subsidized Pertamina fuel will be made in the Mypertamina application.
