Brooklyn rapper Sheff G marked a poignant farewell to freedom by gifting his girlfriend $50,000 just days before beginning a five-year prison sentence. The gesture occured on Tuesday, September 30th, one day prior to his sentencing in a gang-related RICO case.
The rapper shared a carousel post on Instagram detailing recent events, including his birthday celebration and the significant financial gift to his girlfriend, whom he affectionately addressed as “twin.” This act underscores the personal impact of Sheff G’s legal troubles, affecting not only his career but also his close relationships. His sentencing on Wednesday, October 1st, concludes a case stemming from a March 2023 indictment involving attempted murder and conspiracy charges, and will be served at the Eric M. Taylor Center in East Elmhurst, New York.
