“Fit in the Auto” Program: A Success in Lower saxony
The nationwide “Fit in the Auto” program, a collaborative effort between the Lower Saxony State Transport Wacht, the lower Saxony driving instructor association, the Lower Saxony Transport and Interior Ministry, and the Lower Saxony police, has seen considerable success in the Hanover region. This initiative aims to provide older road users with the resources and support they need to drive safely and confidently.
Isernhagen Event Details: Test Your Driving Skills
On June 5, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., senior citizens in Isernhagen will have the opportunity to participate in a “Fit in the Auto” event. Hosted by the Lower saxony State Transport Wacht, Fahrschule Simokat GmbH, and the police in Isernhagen, this program offers a non-binding assessment of driving suitability in a supportive environment. Participants can expect to be “under like -minded people, without stress and guaranteed without fear of having to hand in the license.”

- Cost: €40 per participant (payable on the course day)
