scootx, Pioneering Physics-Driven Scooter Simulation, Launches on Xbox Series X/S September 19
North Vancouver, BC – September 19, 2025 – mash Games’ ScootX, billed as the world’s first 100% physics-driven scooter simulation, is available today on Xbox series X and Xbox Series S via the Microsoft Game Preview program. This marks the studio’s debut on current-generation Xbox consoles.
Originally launching in Steam Early Access on July 4, 2025, ScootX has garnered a “Very Positive” rating based on over 700 user reviews. Players praise the game’s smooth controls, satisfying trick system, and expansive maps. Mash Games has actively addressed player feedback with frequent updates, sometimes arriving within a day or two of being reported.
The Xbox version includes updates released throughout the summer on Steam, including a new map added August 30, 2025, and new tricks with revamped animations implemented August 29, 2025.
ScootX emphasizes player freedom, with developers stating, “ther’s no wrong way to ride.” The game’s physics engine governs rider and scooter reactions, making trick execution both challenging and rewarding. The game features skateparks and street environments, and integrates with mod.io for community-created content.
mash Games previously developed BMX titles PIPE by BMX Streets (2018) and BMX Streets (2024). ScootX is currently priced at $19.99 in the United States and £16.75 in the United Kingdom on PC.
ScootX joins a robust lineup of Xbox releases this week, alongside titles like EA Sports FC 26, Car Mechanic Shop Simulator, and LEGO Voyagers.
