Savannah Guthrie’s family is offering a $1 million reward for information leading to the recovery of her mother, Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing from her Arizona home for over three weeks, the Today reveal host announced Wednesday.

“She may already be gone,” Guthrie said in an Instagram post. “She may already have gone home to the Lord that she loves and is dancing in heaven.” Despite acknowledging the possibility her mother may not be found alive, Guthrie emphasized the family’s demand for closure and urged anyone with information to come forward. “Someone out there knows something that can bring her home,” she stated.

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen at her residence near Tucson, Arizona, on January 31st and was reported missing the following day. Authorities believe she was the victim of a kidnapping. The Pima County Sheriff’s Office has been leading the investigation, with assistance from the FBI and other agencies. More than 20,000 tips have been received, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The FBI previously released surveillance video footage of a masked individual observed outside Nancy Guthrie’s home on the night of her disappearance. Investigators have acknowledged discrepancies in images of the suspect circulating publicly, specifically regarding the presence of a backpack. The Sheriff’s Department stated Monday that the varying depictions are due to a lack of timestamps on the images, making it speculative to suggest they were taken on different days.

Sheriff Chris Nanos has stated that members of Nancy Guthrie’s family, including her siblings and their spouses, have been ruled out as suspects in the case. Drops of Nancy Guthrie’s blood were discovered on the front porch of her home, but authorities have not released further details regarding the evidence.

Authorities have expressed concern for Nancy Guthrie’s well-being, as she requires daily medication. Savannah Guthrie announced Wednesday that her family will also donate $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, hoping to extend support to other families facing similar circumstances.

A growing memorial has formed outside Nancy Guthrie’s home, as the investigation continues.
