Samsung is planning a price increase for its Galaxy Tab models in India, effective March 1, 2026, according to a post on X by tipster Abhishek Yadav.
Yadav, who accurately predicted earlier price hikes for Samsung’s Galaxy A series smartphones, reported the impending tablet price adjustments. The move follows two price increases on the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy F17 in January and last month, reportedly driven by rising costs for memory and storage components.
While the reason for the Galaxy Tab price increase has not been officially disclosed by Samsung, industry analysts suggest that increasing memory prices are a likely factor.
Currently, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, the company’s flagship tablet, has a starting price of INR 120,999 in India. The more affordable Galaxy Tab A11 begins at INR 16,999. Although, pricing at individual retailers may vary.
In September 2025, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S11 series in India, including the Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra, featuring a redesigned S Pen, enhanced DeX functionality, and integrated artificial intelligence features. The Galaxy Tab S11 was initially priced starting at INR 74,999, according to Moneycontrol.
According to Gadgets360, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11, with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, started at Rs. 80,999. Variants with 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB of storage were priced at Rs. 85,999, and Rs. 96,999, respectively.
