Samsung is poised to become a critical supplier for leading artificial intelligence firms, including Tesla, as a legendary chip designer reportedly considers the South Korean manufacturer for its next-generation 2nm AI chips. The move comes as Samsung has already secured 2nm chip orders from Ambarella,DeepX,Preferred Networks,and Tesla,signaling strong confidence in its capabilities. Looking ahead,Samsung is preparing to launch its Exynos 2600 chip early next year,possibly powering the galaxy S26 Pro. This chip is expected to feature ARM’s C1 series CPU cores, an AMD RDNA-based Xclipse 950 GPU, a powerful Neural Processing Unit (NPU), and an advanced Image Signal Processor (ISP). It may also integrate a 5G modem and support for low-Earth orbit satellite connectivity.
