Andrey Gurulyov, a member of the Russian State Duma, has urged Russians to accept the loss of what he described as one of the last remaining channels for free communication, framing it as a necessary sacrifice in a “fight against NATO.” However, this appeal has largely fallen on deaf ears, with many Russians expressing frustration that the restrictions extend beyond Telegram itself, impacting their daily lives.
