The upcoming Xiaomi 16 series, slated for release later this year, promises a leap in display technology. Both the flagship Xiaomi 16 and the Redmi K90 series, a related brand, will feature cutting-edge 2K Real RGB OLED screens.

Display Specifications Unveiled

According to information from Digital Chat Station (DCS), the 2K Real RGB OLED screens will be present in both models. Production is slated to ramp up in September. The Real RGB OLED design utilizes individual red, green, and blue pixels, unlike conventional arrangements. These screens are designed to provide sharper images, particularly for text.

This technology is expected to mitigate the common issue of OLED screen burn-in. The manufacturer is anticipated to be TCL CSOT.
