The ‍”Wild and Free” project, evolving from a rock album of the same name, marks⁤ a significant moment for Darulis, who has achieved international acclaim in fashion photography while remaining connected⁢ to themes of youth, freedom, and the‍ natural ‌world.⁣ Curator Karolis ⁣Gužas⁤ highlighted the project’s⁣ role in extending a narrative begun⁤ by photographer Rimantas Dichavičius, bridging it with contemporary cultural contexts.⁣ The exhibition, open⁣ to the public until⁢ September 27th,⁢ offers a rare chance⁣ to experience Darulis’s ‌work within Lithuania,⁢ after years spent contributing to publications like ‌ Vogue ⁢and campaigns for brands including Harrods, Net-a-porter, and Boucheron.

Born in Šiauliai, Darulis discovered his passion for⁤ photography as a teenager through his ⁤grandfather’s camera. He relocated to London in 2009, quickly establishing ‌himself ⁢within the ⁢fashion industry, assisting photographers such as⁢ Ben Toms,‍ Matt Irwin, and Willy Vanderperre.

Darulis himself expressed⁢ his ambition to secure distribution for the “Wild⁣ and Free” album⁢ and potentially showcase the project internationally. “I want to find distribution places for the album and in⁣ the future⁢ might potentially be ‌transferred abroad.
