Riga Music Week to Showcase International Talent November 5-6
Riga, Latvia – The inaugural Riga Music Week (RMW) will bring a diverse lineup of over 400 musicians representing 38 countries to Latvia’s capital on November 5th and 6th. The festival aims to establish riga as a key meeting point for artists and industry professionals across Europe and beyond, fostering new collaborations and showcasing emerging talent.
The festival’s roster includes established names and rising stars from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Great Britain, Germany, Poland, Ireland, France, and Sweden. Confirmed performers include Ukrainian Eurovision representatives, Ziferblat, Estonian artist erki, and Alika, Lithuania’s spokesperson for the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, alongside Ignaya, Nick Ganga, Emily, Būu, “yut,” ”very Cool Peopel,” Elizabeth Gaile, Tom Rudzinsky, Vultura, and “Bel Tempo,” among others.
According to Agnese Cimushka-rekke, the creator and driving force behind Riga Music Week, “We are very pleased that so many musicians applied for the first festival – it confirms both the importance of Riga and the potential of RMW as an international music meeting place.” The festival collaborated with experienced music curators to select the performers, and attendees can expect to see artists featured on each of the festival’s designated stages.
