The Riga International Film Festival (RIGA IFF) is set to return from October 16-26, transforming Riga into a hub for cinematic exploration. Tickets and festival passes are now on sale, allowing film enthusiasts to plan their experience in advance since September 16th.

A Program for Every Viewer
Wiht over 100 screenings, RIGA IFF caters to all tastes and ages. Highlights include a dedicated program of children’s and family films, experimental short films pushing cinematic boundaries, and digitally restored classics – offering a unique bridge between film history and contemporary talent.
Competitive Programs & Industry Focus
The festival’s main competition will showcase nine feature films from the Baltic Sea and Nordic regions (Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Ukraine, and Sweden), vying for the festival’s top prize. Alongside this,the International and National Short Film Competitions will spotlight emerging filmmakers and innovative short-form storytelling. A Baltic Music video Competition will also celebrate regional creativity.
RIGA IFF also provides a valuable platform for film industry professionals, fostering collaboration and discussion about the future of cinema.
Venues & Ticket Information
RIGA IFF 2024 will be held at Splendid Palace, Forum Cinemas, and the National Library of Latvia.
Tickets, 4-ticket sets, and festival passports are available for purchase starting September 16th at rigaaiff.lv and through “Biļešu serviss” outlets. Tickets will also be available at the RIGA IFF information Center at Splendid Palace starting October 14th.
