Rey Mysterio is now headed to Saudi Arabia for the upcoming WWE Royal Rumble weekend.
Despite reports of an injury on the January 26th edition of Monday Night Raw, WWE Hall of Famer Mysterio has uploaded a picture of himself while traveling to the Middle-Eastern country.
An unmasked Mysterio shared a picture with Penta and Dragon Lee, also unmasked, while sitting inside an airplane on social media. All three unmasked luchadors preferred to cover their face while sharing the photo.
Mysterio, lee, and Penta have all declared for the Royal Rumble and are scheduled to compete in the match this weekend. Though, there are currently no confirmed reports on Mysterio’s fitness for the match and whether he would participate or not.
Last year at the 2025 edition of Royal Rumble, Penta and Mysterio began the match as the first two entrants. While Penta lasted over 40-minutes, Mysterio was eliminated in the 24th minute.
Mysterio, 51, spent several months out of action in 2025 after suffering a groin injury in April before WrestleMania 41. He’s been back in the ring since.
