New York – Investment firm Zurich significantly increased its holdings in tech behemoths NVIDIA and Apple during teh third quarter,according to recent filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The moves cement the two NASDAQ-listed companies as the top holdings in Zurich’s portfolio, signaling a strong confidence in the future performance of the semiconductor and consumer electronics sectors.
Zurich boosted its Apple stake, climbing from third to second place in the portfolio. The firm added 625,516 shares of Apple (AAPL), bringing its total investment to 3,502,416 shares, valued at $891.82 million – representing 6.37 percent of the overall portfolio. Together, Zurich maintained its top position with NVIDIA (NVDA), despite selling 312,225 shares during the quarter. NVIDIA holdings now total 5,801,868 shares, with a value of $1.08 billion, constituting 7.73 percent of Zurich’s investment portfolio.
