Rebel Wilson to Speak at University of Colorado Boulder | Tickets & Details

March 23, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

Actress and comedian Rebel Wilson will appear at Macky Auditorium on the University of Colorado Boulder campus on April 15, as part of a public event organized by the student-run Distinguished Speakers Board.

The event, titled “An Evening With Rebel Wilson,” will begin at 7 p.m. With doors opening at 6 p.m., according to a press release from the University of Colorado Boulder. Tickets are priced at $2 for students, $8 for CU faculty and staff, and $15 for the general public, though additional fees may apply.

Wilson is widely recognized for her roles in films such as “Bridesmaids” and the “Pitch Perfect” series. She began her acting career in her native Australia before achieving international acclaim. In 2024, Wilson released her memoir, “Rebel Rising,” which details her path to success and personal challenges, according to the University.

The Distinguished Speakers Board, comprised entirely of CU Boulder students, selected Wilson to speak based on her story of overcoming obstacles and embracing individuality. “Rebel Wilson has built a career by turning individuality into a strength,” said Cooper Baldwin, chair of the board, in a statement. “Her willingness to seize risks, challenge expectations and bring humor into everything she does makes her a compelling voice for students thinking about how to carve out their own path.”

The board has previously hosted a range of prominent figures, including Anderson Cooper, Trevor Noah, Garry Kasparov, Hank Green, Chloe Kim, Jennette McCurdy and Giancarlo Esposito. The event will feature a 60-minute moderated Q&A session with Wilson, according to Eventbrite.

Attendees are advised that the event will follow the University of Colorado Boulder’s Clear Bag Policy, prohibiting backpacks and large purses. Airport-style security checks will be in place, and re-entry will not be permitted once attendees have left the venue. Empty plastic water bottles are allowed, and water bottle refill stations will be available. Tickets are available for purchase online at tinyurl.com/yh82cz5j.
