Radka Třeštíková and Jaroslav Vít Split, iDNES.cz Reports
Radka Třeštíková and Jaroslav Vít End Their Relationship
A high-profile romance that has now officially unraveled lasted for a period of a year and a half. Author Radka Třeštíková and businessman Jaroslav Vít have ended their relationship, a split confirmed by iDNES.cz after months of mounting speculation.
The 50-year-old businessman addressed the separation directly. Vít stated that they are no longer together and wished Třeštíková a partner with whom she will be happy. He added that he does not regret the time they spent together, according to iDNES.cz.
From Early Kisses to Silent Feeds
Their story began in the opening months of 2025, documented when photographers captured the pair sharing a kiss, as reported by Super.cz. The rhythm of their romance played out largely in the public eye until the digital trail abruptly cooled.

Their last romantic photographs appeared on social media in July, after which shared posts stopped entirely.
Contrasting Responses on Instagram
The 45-year-old writer chose a much more guarded path than her former partner.
Before that post, she had also written on her profile that sometimes the right question is not who someone is, but what kind of person she is to stay with them, alongside another sentence noting that sometimes it is not about who you draw into your life, but who you keep in it. The timeline of her public statements reveals a rapid shift. Just weeks prior, on October 2, an interview published by Blesk.cz featured Třeštíková insisting she still had the same partner, speaking at a time when everything still looked normal at a film premiere of Pravda, nebo lež. By October 15, she appeared alone at a book launch for her ex-husband, photographer Tomáš Třeštík. She told Blesk.cz at the event that the relationship was continuing in some way, while declining to comment further. At the event, she supported the father of her two children on his big day and baptized the book alongside Vojtěch Dyk and Rostislav Novák. The book compiles portraits that Třeštík shot over the last fifteen years on his balcony in Letná, and Třeštíková had stood in front of his lens more than once.
Třeštíková Adopts Pseudonym to Avoid Popularity Claims
The separation arrives amid a broader pattern of transitions in Třeštíková’s public profile. In March 2025, she announced on Instagram that she had achieved everything she wanted under her own name on the literary scene and no longer held higher ambitions.

By September, publishing house Motto released her novel Někdo to udělat musel under the pseudonym Velikovsky. In her October interview with Blesk.cz, she explained the name change by stating she no longer wanted to listen to claims that she profited from his popularity.
Echoes of Past High-Profile Divorces
This breakup marks the second time a high-profile relationship of hers has concluded through public declarations. In April 2021, her divorce from Tomáš Třeštík was announced by the photographer himself via social media.
At that time, he stated that he and Radka had not formed a couple for a long time, according to Blesk.cz coverage from that period. Meanwhile, Vít brings his own history of public splits to the dynamic, having been previously married to former Nova presenter Iveta Vítová, born Lutovská, for 11 years. The former couple shares two children.
