Radio Shakeup: Hanouna Exits Europe 1, RMC & Franceinfo Announce New Lineups
PARIS, August 12, 2025 – Major changes are sweeping across the French radio landscape as stations finalize their lineups for the new broadcast year. Cyril Hanouna is leaving Europe 1 to focus on his new W9 talk show, All Stunning Brand New, which premieres September 1st.This move opens the 4 pm-6 pm slot on Europe 1 for Pascal Praud.
RMC Bolsters Programming to Reverse Audience Dip
RMC is responding to a slight decline in audience share-5.2% cumulative in 2024-2025 compared to an average of 5.7% over the previous three seasons-with several key additions. Pascale de la Tour du Pin joins RMC for a “Little Morning” programme airing between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. This marks a return to the group for de la Tour du Pin,who previously spent ten years at BFMTV before a two-season stint with Vincent Bolloré’s media outlets.
Football fans will also find new voices on RMC.Jean-Pierre Papin, the 1991 ballon d’Or winner, is joining Jérôme Rothen’s Rothen ignites from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, starting August 28th. Papin will also co-host the Ligue 1 Multiplex on Sundays from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. alongside carine Galli, another new recruit. galli will also integrate Estelle Denis’s midday talk show.Jacques Legros is also joining the team.
Franceinfo has made more targeted additions. Paul Larrouturou, formerly a reporter on TF1’s Bonjour ! morning program, will take over the 8:30 am interview slot from Salhia Brakhlia and Jérôme Chapuis, alongside Agathe Lambret. Chapuis’s contract has been renewed, and the morning programming will now begin at 6 am. In a surprising move,Franceinfo has also recruited editorialists Nathan devers and Paul Melun from CNews.
