Job Title: Hockey Operations Coordinator

Team: Boston Fleet (Professional Women’s Hockey League)

Department: Hockey Operations

Reporting To: Director of Hockey Operations & Team Services, and General Manager

Job Summary:

The Boston Fleet is looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Hockey Operations Coordinator to provide elite-level support to their players, coaches, and staff. This role is crucial for ensuring a high standard of care both on and off the ice, focusing on team logistics, travel, hospitality, and player-related operations. The goal is to create a seamless and supportive surroundings for everyone involved with the Boston Fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

Player & Family Experience: work with the Director of Team Services to create exceptional experiences for players and their families.
General Manager Support: Assist the General Manager with administrative tasks and requests during the season.
Liaison: Act as a point of contact between players, coaches, the league, and the Boston Fleet association.
Player Support: Help players with their day-to-day needs as required.
event Planning: Plan and execute team-related events.
Service Provider Network: Build and maintain relationships with local service providers (catering, education, childcare, real estate, etc.) to support the team. Operational Logistics: Assist with operational tasks like ice bookings, equipment shipping, product procurement, and reimbursement processes.
dialog: Keep players and staff informed about business operations and upcoming event opportunities.
Autograph Sessions: Manage player autograph sessions, ensuring compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) guidelines.
game Day Coordination: Handle home game-day logistics, including parking passes, snack purchases, and administrative needs for the coaching staff. Onboarding & Administration: Assist with credentialing, player onboarding, and HUB organization.
Team Building & Community: Support team-building events, community initiatives, and outreach programs.
League Support: Assist the league with logistics for “Takeover Tour” games and events involving the Boston Fleet.
Culture: Uphold a collaborative,player-first culture with integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications:

Education/Background: A background in sports management or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
Hockey Knowledge: Strong understanding of professional hockey operations; experience in women’s hockey is a plus.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,especially in high-pressure situations.
organizational Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data discreetly.
Schedule Flexibility: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extensive travel during the season.
Work Style: Ability to work independently while also fostering a positive, team-first atmosphere.

Additional Information:

Location: This is an on-site position based in Boston.
work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
* Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000 USD.
