Programmer’s​ Day⁢ originated in Russia in 2002, proposed by employees of parallel Technologies and ⁣officially recognized as a commemorative day in 2009. Known internationally as both “Programmer’s Day” and “Day of the​ Programmer,” the date always falls on the 256th day of the year (28). ‍ Interestingly, China observes the holiday on October 24th ⁢- numerically represented as 1024, which corresponds to 210 ‌ – a nod to the ‌binary foundations of computing.
