A Time for Remembrance, Resilience, and Resolve
Breast cancer casts a long shadow, impacting the lives of countless Americans and their families with fear and uncertainty. As we observe National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we honor the strength and courage of those currently battling this disease and renew our unwavering commitment to its ultimate eradication.
The Scope of the Challenge
The statistics are stark: approximately one in eight women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer during her lifetime. Recognizing the profound impact of this disease, my Management is dedicated to lowering cancer rates and alleviating the physical and emotional toll it takes on individuals, families, and communities.
This commitment is embodied in the work of the Make America Healthy Again Commission, which is actively pursuing strategies to reduce cancer incidence and improve outcomes.
Prioritizing Prevention and Progress
We urge all Americans to proactively prioritize their health. This includes understanding personal and family medical histories, embracing early detection methods like regular screenings, and adopting preventative lifestyle choices that may mitigate cancer risk.
Furthermore, my Administration remains steadfast in its support for continued research and medical advancements, accelerating the pace of finding and bringing us closer to effective cures.
Honoring Survivors and remembering Those Lost
This month, we celebrate the triumph of over four million breast cancer survivors across the nation. We offer our prayers and support to those currently undergoing treatment and striving for remission. And we extend our deepest condolences to all who have mourned the loss of loved ones to this devastating disease.
Together, with a shared purpose,we will work towards a future where all Americans can enjoy a healthy, prosperous, and cancer-free life.
