The frist phase of testing revealed six positive cases. For the second round of testing, the Premier League increased the number of tests per club from 40 to 50, demonstrating a heightened focus on safety as teams prepare for a potential restart.
All 20 Premier League clubs have now commenced training, with varying approaches – some teams are training individually, while others are progressing towards group sessions.
While no firm date has been set for the resumption of the English top flight, June 12th and June 20th remain the most frequently discussed potential restart dates.
The Premier League has not publicly disclosed the identities of the individuals who have tested positive, citing privacy concerns.
