Powerball Jackpot Soars to $1.09 Billion After No Winner in Saturday’s Drawing
The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $1.09 billion for the next drawing on Monday, August 11, 2025, after no ticket matched all six numbers in Saturday night’s game. The winning numbers were 12, 26, 38, 47, 63, and the Powerball was 15. The Power Play was 2X.
This marks the third time this year the Powerball jackpot has exceeded $1 billion. The last jackpot winner, occurring on May 6, 2025, was a single ticket sold in Michigan worth $842.4 million. The current jackpot is the fourth largest in Powerball history.
Powerball, a multi-state lottery game, is available for purchase in 45 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $2 per play.
To play, individuals select five numbers from 1 to 69 for the white balls and one number from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball. The odds of matching all six numbers to win the jackpot are approximately 1 in 292.2 million.
Players can opt for the “Power Play” option for an additional $1 per ticket. This multiplies non-jackpot winnings by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X. The 10X Power Play is only available when the advertised jackpot is $150 million or less.
For those who prefer a random selection, the “Quick Pick” feature allows the lottery terminal to automatically generate numbers.
Powerball drawings are conducted live from the Florida Lottery Studio in Tallahassee, Florida, on Mondays, wednesdays, and Saturdays at 10:59 p.m.eastern Time. Drawings are broadcast on various television networks and streamed online at Powerball.com.
