Air defense systems and radar surveillance returned to standard operating procedures, with the involvement of Royal Air Force F-35 fighters. no intrusions into Polish airspace were reported during the operation.
This incident follows a similar breach in September, when over twenty Russian drones entered Polish airspace, which Polish leaders characterized as a intentional attack. Sunday night’s Russian strikes on Ukraine, utilizing drones and missiles, resulted in at least four deaths in the Lviv region, according to Ukrainian news outlet Pravda.
