Victoria police are searching for a 61-year-old man who went missing after leaving a caravan park in Victoria’s east on Tuesday. Troy Milne was last seen after departing a Woodside caravan park where he had been camping with his wife. Police are concerned for his welfare as he is not carrying insulin.
Mr. Milne’s silver and black Jeep Wrangler, with number plate XPZ-342, was last detected on CCTV travelling along the Great Alpine Road in Swifts Creek at 1pm on Tuesday. He had earlier shopped at a service station in Omeo, just after midday, where staff reported he appeared lost and confused, requesting directions back to Bairnsdale.
police believe Mr. Milne is 193cm tall with a medium to solid build and has scars on his forehead. He was last seen wearing a white singlet,gray jumper,track pants and black thongs.
A search involving police members, the Air Wing, and SES volunteers has been underway as Tuesday, but has so far yielded no results.
