Police Name Two Women Killed in Pleasley Crash – Teenager Arrested

Two Women Killed in Pleasley Crash Named by Police, ⁢9-Year-Old ⁢Boy Hospitalized

Pleasley, ⁤Derbyshire Derbyshire Police‌ have named the two women who died following a collision on Common Lane in Pleasley near‍ Mansfield‌ on thursday, November 27. The victims have been identified as Amie Pearson, 26, who was driving a‍ Suzuki Alto, and her ​passenger, Chelsea Carlisle, 29.

The crash,which occurred at⁣ approximately 6:20 am,involved a Suzuki Alto and a Vauxhall Meriva. A nine-year-old boy who was also in the Suzuki sustained serious,‌ life-changing injuries and remains hospitalized.Three men traveling ‌in the Vauxhall were also injured,two ⁣of them seriously.⁤

Police have arrested an 18-year-old man from⁤ the⁣ Vauxhall at⁣ the scene on suspicion of causing death by ⁤dangerous ‌driving. He was also taken to hospital due ⁤to injuries sustained in the collision and remains under medical care.

“Their families are aware and our⁢ thoughts remain‌ with them,” derbyshire Police stated.⁣

Authorities are appealing ‌for information from anyone⁣ who witnessed the crash. Those with relevant details are asked to contact Derbyshire Police on 101, quoting reference number 25000694201.
