According to a 2023 study by the World Health Organization, lack of physical activity is a significant risk factor for global mortality. The study shows that approximately 3.2 million deaths each year are attributable to insufficient physical activity (WHO).
Program Details
The fitness program, led by fitness vlogger Rendon Labador, occurred at Camp Crame in Quezon City on June 19. Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, a PNP spokesperson, mentioned she had no personal knowledge of plans to employ Labador as a fitness coach.
Labador stated he offered his services for free. His father was a former police officer. Gen. Torre had previously announced officers unable to meet the physical fitness criteria would face a “graceful exit.”
