Dangerous Criminal “El Boquita” Killed in police Operation in Miranda State

According to the official report, the suspect opened fire on the officers, leading to an exchange of gunfire.”El Boquita” was injured in the confrontation and was rushed to the Domingo Luciani Hospital. However, he was pronounced dead upon arrival, as confirmed by journalist Román Camacho on his social media channels.
The individual was later identified as Yonathan José Astudillo Peña, a wanted criminal wiht a lengthy record. Authorities had been pursuing him for multiple charges, including intentional homicide and three counts of qualified homicide as a cooperator, among other crimes. During the operation, a 45mm firearm was recovered at the scene, as reported by Eligio Rojas.
