PlayStation Store’s Most Downloaded Games for May 2023: Rankings for PS5, PS4, PSVR and Free-to-Play Titles

Sony through official PlayStation blog published the ranking the most downloaded games on the PlayStation Store for the month of May. As in previous months, the list is divided between games for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PS VR, PS VR2 and free-to-play titles.

On PS5, action continued to hold the first position adventura Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which we also found at the top of the list in April. Second place was taken by the ageless Grand Theft Auto 5, followed by the zombie action Dead Island 2, released at the end of April, and the football simulation FIFA 23, especially popular in Europe.

The ranking of the older console PS4 was significantly affected by the release of the promotional one RPG Hogwarts Legacy, which took a look at this platform on May 5 and immediately settled at the top of the chart. In other places, there were regulars in the form of Minecraft, FIFA 23, Red Dead Redemption 2, Grand Theft Auto V and EA Sports UFC 4.

Looking at the overview of the most downloaded games for virtual reality, it is evident that it continues the supremacy of the Czech Beat Saber, which ranked first on both the first PS VR and the new PS VR2, where the game was released in late May. At the head of the list of free-to-play games are traditionally popular titles such as Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 or Fall Guys. In Europe, however, all these games she was able to defeat Trackmanwhich finally saw the release of console versions last month.
