Plane Crash in Brescia: Two Dead After Ultraleve Accident

A small aircraft crashed onto a highway in Brescia, Italy, resulting in the deaths of its two occupants. Local authorities reported that the victims, a 75-year-old man and his 60-year-old wife, perished in the ensuing fire. The aircraft had departed from Piacenza en route to Milan when the incident occurred on the Corda Molle highway.

Surveillance footage from the highway captured the moments leading up to and during the crash. Images released by local media depict the aircraft descending at a steep angle before impacting the ground and exploding.

The explosion from the crash affected at least two vehicles traveling on the highway at the time.Reports indicate that the drivers of these vehicles sustained no serious injuries. Following the accident, traffic on the highway heading towards Milan was temporarily halted.

The Milan Police Department, in conjunction with the Brescia Public prosecutor’s office, will be conducting an investigation into the causes of the aircraft’s fall.
