Job Description: Keeping Offices Running Smoothly

The Office Appliance Repairer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of office machines. This includes adding, accounting, and calculating machines. The role requires the use of both hand and power tools.

• Repairing and servicing office machines.
• Operating machines to diagnose issues by listening to moving parts.
• Disassembling machines and examining parts for wear and defects.
• Repairing, adjusting, or replacing parts and cleaning moving parts.
• Providing instruction on the operation and care of machines.
• Assembling new machines.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Beyond the technical aspects of the role, the Office Appliance Repairer is expected to contribute to a safe and quality-focused work environment.

Qualifications: What You need to Apply

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet specific qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Two years of job-related experience, including basic computer operations skills, are required.
• Must be able to process routine reports.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.
