Porizkova began her fitness journey at 40, a stark contrast to her earlier years of cigarettes and poor nutrition. She now exercises consistently, finding it beneficial for managing anxiety. “I found out if I worked out every day my anxiety was kept a lot at bay. And I felt better,” she told Elle.

Her fitness routine is varied, including boxing, rowing, and dancing. She finds Zumba and Bollywood dance particularly enjoyable for aerobic benefits. “It’s become something that’s like brushing my teeth. It’s something I have to do,” she shared about her commitment to movement.

Porizkova is also a proponent of Pilates, specifically favoring the Nofar Method. Research suggests Pilates enhances muscle strength, flexibility, and posture. Porizkova openly discusses her feelings about aging and ageism in the modeling industry. “I felt ashamed to be aging, and then on the other hand you go, ‘But, I’m smarter, I’m better, I’m funnier, I’m more patient!’ Overall as a person, I’m the best I’ve ever been,” she shared with PEOPLE. She asserts her right to be seen and celebrated at every stage of life.
