Authorities have confirmed that no members of the family were charged or cautioned by the police in connection wiht the incident. The claims made by the air traffic coordinator are currently unconfirmed.
This event follows a separate incident where a mother allegedly abandoned her newborn baby in an airport restroom before attempting to board a flight. This case was presented in a turkish court.
