“Hoy Día Puerto Rico” Team Mourns Loss of Beloved Shirt After On-Air Incident
The team behind Telemundo Puerto rico’s “Hoy Día Puerto Rico” held a poignant on-air tribute Tuesday,November 7,after a wardrobe malfunction led to the ”unexpected passing” of a shirt worn by co-host Pamela noa. What began as a typical live broadcast quickly turned into a moment of mourning as a zipper unexpectedly broke during an interview.
The incident, described as “sudden” by Ivonne Orsini, prompted an impromptu memorial service for the garment. “Pamela’s shirt accompanied us in the last hour of programming, but, live, it passed away,” Orsini announced, as colleagues gathered to “say goodbye.” The tribute included a musical accompaniment of “I Will Miss You” by Third Heaven.
jasond Calderon added that the zipper “decided to get out adn leave” mid-interview, causing the shirt’s demise. A video capturing the moment of the tear and the subsequent commemoration was shared alongside the broadcast. The event highlighted the close bond among the show’s hosts – Ivonne Orsini, Jacky Fontánez, and Pamela Noa – who recently expressed their enthusiasm for working together on “Hoy Día Puerto Rico.”
