“We are optimistic, based on previous studies, that we will see a good duration of immunity, for at least several years, and probably better than naturally acquired immunity,” he argues.
Gilbert is supervising 8 thousand britânicos participating in phase 3 testing of the Oxford vaccine, manufactured by AstraZeneca.
The vaccine from the University of Oxford and AstraZeneca it is more advanced, in terms of development, and also the most promising. It has also started to be tested in Brazil.
