Exclusive: Outkast Celebrates Rock & roll Hall of Fame Induction with Star-Studded Afterparty
Beverly Hills, CA - November 4, 2023 – following their official induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday night, hip-hop duo Outkast – André 3000 and Big Boi – continued the celebration with an exclusive afterparty hosted at the legendary Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills, presented by Amazon Music.
The evening marked a momentous occasion for the Atlanta-based group, recognized for their groundbreaking contributions to Southern rap and music as a whole.Fellow artist Donald Glover delivered a moving induction speech, praising Outkast’s visionary approach.”Outkast seemed to effortlessly explore what could be,” Glover stated. “They made every experiment sound like a destiny.”
The induction ceremony itself featured emotional highlights, including a powerful tribute performance of “B.O.B.” by Tyler, the Creator, and a heartfelt moment from André 3000 referencing fellow inductee Jack White’s sentiment about great things originating in humble beginnings.
Outkast joined an extraordinary 2023 class of inductees including The White Stripes, Cyndi Lauper, Salt-n-Pepa, and Soundgarden.
The afterparty was a gathering of music royalty,with members of Outkast’s Dungeon Family – Killer Mike,Big Gipp of goodie Mob,and Sleepy Brown – joining the festivities. The guest list also included Janelle Monáe, Thundercat, and a host of other prominent figures in the music industry.
