Man Arrested Following⁣ Bank Robbery in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, ‍S.C. – A 67-year-old man was arrested⁢ by the North Charleston Police Department (NCPD)⁣ on Thursday⁣ afternoon following a reported robbery at a local bank. Bruce Eric Washington has been charged wiht‌ entering ⁢a bank with the ⁤intent to ⁢steal, according to police reports.

The incident occurred shortly after 2:00 p.m. ‌at the South Carolina State‍ Credit​ Union branch​ in North Charleston. Officers were dispatched to the ​scene⁣ following a call reporting the robbery. Upon ‍arrival, bank‍ employees positively identified ⁣Washington ​as ⁢the individual responsible for the crime.
