Nintendo to open theme park in Japan in 2021 – News

Nintendo is opening an amusement park for the first time. Super Nintendo World in Osaka, Japan, should be open to the public in spring 2021, technology news site The Verge reports.

The theme park opening was scheduled for the 2020 Olympics, but like the sporting event, Super Nintendo World has been postponed due to the corona outbreak.

In the theme park, visitors receive special wristbands that can be linked to a mobile app. In this way, in unadulterated Mario style, you can participate in a game throughout the park in which coins must be collected. There are also more traditional rides, including a roller coaster based on the racing game Mario Kart.
