Rapper Jacquwan Andrews, known as Nino Paid, was arrested on Friday, July 25, in Prince george’s County, Maryland.Police records obtained by XXL indicate he faces two charges: unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and theft of property valued between $25,000 and $100,000. the artist, recognized as a 2025 XXL Freshman, was released on his own recognizance. His trial is scheduled for September 26. Specific details regarding the circumstances of the arrest and the ongoing legal proceedings have not yet been released.

This incident marks a recurrence of legal issues for Nino Paid concerning stolen vehicles. In a 2024 interview with DJ Smallz, he acknowledged a previous arrest for driving a stolen car. During his XXL Freshman ABCs feature, Nino Paid also addressed his past involvement with stolen vehicles, stating, “That’s what we used to be doing. We used to be in them. We ain’t gotta go back to that no more.”
