New Omoda C4 to Launch in South Africa

Omoda to Launch C4​ Compact SUV in South Africa in Late 2026

Johannesburg – Omoda will ⁢bolster its South African‌ lineup ⁣with the introduction of the new C4 compact crossover in the second half of 2026. the C4,previously known as the​ C3,will join the Omoda C5 and C9 models in the brand’s local portfolio.

Unveiled globally in October, ‌the C4 showcases Omoda’s‌ “Cyber Mecha” ⁣design ⁣language, described by ​the company ⁤as a “bold fusion ‍of futuristic aesthetics and mechanical precision.”

While detailed⁣ specifications are still forthcoming, ‌Omoda confirmed⁤ South African‌ models will be available with both internal‌ combustion ⁢engine and hybrid powertrain options, allowing customers a⁣ phased transition to electric‍ vehicles.

Pricing has not yet been revealed, but the C4 is anticipated to be more affordable than the C5, which currently ranges‌ from R329,900⁣ to R465,900. Omoda expects to‌ offer a​ comparable level of standard features,‍ including a large touchscreen‍ infotainment system,​ digital instrument cluster, intelligent voice control, wireless ​charging, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate‍ control, and a Sony audio system.
