New Music Friday: Hilary Duff, JLo, Backstreet Boys & More Releases

Hilary Duff celebrated the release of her sixth studio album, luck… Or something, with sold-out performances in Las Vegas and a fan event at The Grove in Los Angeles. During a February 13th reveal at the Voltaire at The Venetian Resort, Duff invited two fans onstage to recreate a dance from her “With Love” music video, culminating in a surprise onstage proposal.

The album release has been accompanied by a world tour, dubbed “the lucky me tour,” which is set to begin on June 22nd. Due to high demand, second shows have been added in four cities, according to announcements this week.

Duff marked the album’s release with a special event at The Grove, offering fans the opportunity to purchase merchandise and have their album copies signed.

Elsewhere in the music world, Jennifer Lopez and David Guetta have announced their collaboration, “Save Me Tonight,” scheduled for release on March 6th. Lopez will simultaneously return to Las Vegas with her residency, “Jennifer Lopez: Up All Night Live,” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

The Backstreet Boys have expanded their “Into the Millennium” residency at Sphere in Las Vegas, adding six recent dates from July 16-25. The residency, which began last July, has already drawn over 575,000 fans across 35 sold-out performances.

Marc Anthony recently launched his “VEGAS… MY WAY” residency at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. His performances feature a mix of English and Spanish hits, including a first-time performance of “My Way” in both languages.

Cardi B kicked off her “Little Miss Drama Tour” last week, her first tour in six years. She celebrated the tour launch with an after-party at Hakkasan Nightclub in Las Vegas on February 13th, where she surprised the crowd with a performance including her hit song “Bodak Yellow.”
