New Covid-19 Record, Here Are 41 Red Zone Regencies / Cities in Indonesia, Bali Still Leading Page all

KOMPAS.com – Indonesia has again recorded a record of increasing daily cases of positive corona virus patients.

Based on data from the Covid-19 Handling Task Force until Wednesday (9/16/2020), there were an addition of 3,963 positive Covid-19 patients in the last 24 hours.

The number of additional daily cases is the highest since the first Covid-19 case was announced by President Jokowi on March 2.

While the amount Red zone in Indonesia currently there are 41 districts / cities. This was conveyed by Wiku Adisasmito’s Covid-19 Handling Task Force in an online press conference at the Jakarta Presidential Palace, as reported Among, Tuesday (15/9/2020).

Wiku revealed, as of September 6 the number red zone in Indonesia still 70 regions. However, the data as of September 13 became 41 regions.

He revealed, the Covid-19 Handling Task Force noted that at the beginning of the week there was a reduction in the risk of Covid-19 transmission in 34 districts / cities which were previously red zones, now turning into an orange zone (moderate risk of transmission).

The increase in the orange zone also shows an indication of an increased risk from areas that were previously green.

“The orange zone really begs to pay attention to the control of cases, and health protocols are implemented so that the zone becomes a light zone and there are no more new cases,” he said.

The orange zone currently numbers 293 (57 percent) of districts / cities.
