Netflix‘s ”Monster” Holds Top Streaming Spot for Second Week
NEW YORK – November 7,2025 - Netflix’s horror anthology series,Monster: The Ed Gein Story,continues to dominate the streaming landscape,maintaining the No. 1 position on Nielsen’s Top 10 Overall Streaming chart for the second consecutive week.
Data for the week of October 6 reveals Monster garnered a substantial 2.308 billion viewing minutes, a 51% increase from the previous week. The series notably resonates with the Adults 18-49 demographic, who comprised 61% of its total viewership. Notably, the 18-34 age group’s engagement also grew, rising from 22% to 28% of viewers.
According to Nielsen Streaming Content Ratings, netflix boasted five titles within the top 10, including two with shared distribution rights, and was the only streamer with more than one program exceeding a billion viewing minutes.
The reality dating series Love Is Blind secured the No. 2 spot with 1.112 billion minutes viewed. The majority – 95% – of this viewing time stemmed from the current season,which released three new episodes on October 8.
NCIS, available on Hulu, Netflix, and Paramount+, held steady at No. 3 with 858 million viewing minutes. SpongeBob SquarePants on Paramount+ jumped from seventh to fourth place, achieving 819 million minutes viewed.
rounding out the top five was Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters, climbing one position to 808 million minutes viewed.
The remainder of the top 10 included: Law & Order (hulu & Peacock) at No. 6 with 755 million minutes; Bluey (Disney+) at No. 7 with 742 million minutes; Gray’s Anatomy (Hulu & Netflix) at No. 8 with 720 million minutes; Bob’s Burgers (Hulu) at No. 9 with 700 million minutes; and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (Hulu & Peacock) at No. 10 with 683 million minutes.
