Bernie ecclestone Intervened to Prevent Publication of Upskirt photo of Natalie Pinkham
Natalie Pinkham, a prominent motorsports broadcaster, has revealed a story of unexpected support from former Formula 1 chief Bernie Ecclestone. Pinkham recounted how Ecclestone personally intervened to prevent a compromising photograph - taken due to a gust of wind – from appearing in a British tabloid.
The incident, which occurred several years ago, involved a photographer capturing an upskirt image of Pinkham. She learned the photo was slated for publication in The Sun newspaper and instantly informed Ecclestone. demonstrating a surprising level of protection, Ecclestone contacted the photographer directly, warning that their press credentials would be revoked if the image was released. “He phoned the cameraman…and said, ‘if that goes to print, your pass won’t work at the next grand prix. you don’t stitch Natalie up like that,'” Pinkham recalled.
Pinkham, currently a presenter with Sky Sports F1, expressed her surprise at Ecclestone’s actions, noting the contrast with his well-known support for grid girls and other traditionally feminine elements of Formula 1.”I was like, ‘Wow, he’s a feminist!'” she said. she attributed his intervention to his role as a father and husband, suggesting a protective instinct towards women.
The incident highlights a lesser-known side of the often-controversial Ecclestone, and underscores the potential power dynamics within the world of motorsports journalism. pinkham began her broadcasting career with BBC Radio 5 Live’s F1 coverage before joining Sky Sports F1 in 2012.
