Multiple Victims Hospitalized in Northern California Shooting: What We Know
Stockton, California – A shooting in Stockton, California on Saturday evening left multiple people hospitalized and four confirmed deceased, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred in the 1900 block of Lucille Avenue, near Thornton Road, triggering a large-scale emergency response.
Approximately 14 individuals were struck by gunfire. Deputies confirmed that several victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

Videos circulating on social media platforms, including X and Facebook, depict a critically important presence of emergency personnel at the scene. Stockton is located roughly 80 miles east of San Francisco in California’s Central Valley.
California Governor Gavin Newsom has been briefed on the shooting. His press office reported via X that Newsom’s Office of Emergency Services is monitoring the situation and coordinating wiht local law enforcement.
As of late Saturday night, authorities have released limited information regarding potential suspects or the motive behind the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
