Vyborg Region Announces Diverse Events for Mother’s Day celebrations
VYBORG, RUSSIA - A series of events are planned across teh Vyborg region to honor mothers and grandmothers this mother’s day, offering residents a variety of ways to show their recognition. From concerts and exhibitions to hands-on workshops, the celebrations will take place over several days.
The festivities begin on November 27th with a literary and musical concert, “Mom is the main word,” at the Vyborg library located on Rubezhnaya, 18, starting at 13:00.
November 28th brings multiple concert options. the Primorsky House of Culture will host “Mom is the first word” at 18:00, while the Krasnodolinsky House of Culture presents “Mom’s Day of the Calendar,” also at 18:00. Further inland, the Yermilovsky House of culture has prepared a concert program, “You are the only one – the dearest,” commencing at 19:00.
the village of Ryabovo will host a full day of cultural activities on November 28th: congratulations for all village mothers on the square at 15:00, followed by an exhibition of drawings and crafts titled ”hugging Mom” at 16:00, and concluding with the concert “From the heart” at 17:00.
On November 29th, a bouquet-making master class will be held at the Vyborg library on Rubezhnaya, 18, beginning at 12:00. Later that day, a concert featuring a veterans’ choir, “Tender, Affectionate,” will take place at the Palace of Culture at 15:00. Admission requires invitation cards available at the box office.
As Martin Andersen-Nexø eloquently stated, “A mother is a person who will replace everyone, but no one will replace her.”
