## Yella Beezy’s Capital Murder Trial in Mo3’s Death Postponed Amidst Extensive Evidence Review
Dallas rapper Yella beezy, whose real name is Markies conway, will have to wait longer to face trial in connection wiht the 2020 murder of fellow Dallas artist Mo3 [[1]]. The trial, originally scheduled for February 2nd, has been postponed indefinitely as the defense requests more time to process a substantial amount of evidence provided by the prosecution.
The delay stems from a motion filed by Beezy’s attorney on January 7th, citing over 16 terabytes of discovery data delivered by the state [[3]]. The defense argues that much of this data is irrelevant to the case, including audit files, jail calls, and duplicative video footage, hindering their ability to prepare an adequate defense. Specifically, the filing claims the provided materials contain files lacking clear labeling and numbering systems, further complicating the review process [[3]].
During a pretrial hearing on January 16th, Judge Chika Anyiam acknowledged the logistical challenges and scheduled another hearing to determine a new trial date [[1]].Beezy was absent from the hearing due to the recent passing of his mother.
