Miss Jamaica to be Discharged from Hospital Following Stage Fall
Bangkok, Thailand – Miss Jamaica, 29-year-old ophthalmologist fabienne Wilson, is in good health and expected to be discharged from the hospital following a fall during the Miss Universe competition, according to a statement released by Miss universe owner raul Rocha on Instagram.
Wilson fell approximately one meter into a hole in the stage at the end of her gala dress parade and was transported to the hospital by stretcher. Rocha initially stated last Wednesday that Wilson had not sustained any broken bones.
“Over the past few days there have been difficult times and unexpected concerns.Though, thanks to the excellent medical care provided, each issue was successfully resolved,” Rocha’s statement read. “Today we are pleased to share that the latest medical report confirms that she is in good health and about to be discharged.”
The miss Universe institution has maintained discretion regarding the specifics of Wilson’s condition, emphasizing that details should be communicated by the family or the candidate herself. the organization has covered all expenses related to the incident, including accommodation for Wilson’s family, new airline tickets, transportation, and dedicated support staff.
Wilson was unable to participate in the final miss Universe gala held on Friday while under medical observation.
Additionally,Flavia Harizaj of Albania did not participate in the final gala. The total number of competitors was reduced to 118 following the prior withdrawals of representatives from Persia, Germany, Niger, and Iceland (who cited health problems).
