meta has entered the⁤ rapidly evolving world⁤ of AI-generated content with the ‍launch of “Vibes,” ‌a new platform dedicated exclusively ‍to videos created adn modified using artificial intelligence. The app, positioned⁢ as a direct ‌competitor to TikTok, allows users to both alter⁢ existing ‍AI-generated videos⁤ and construct entirely new ones from scratch.

Currently, Vibes isn’t⁣ a standalone⁣ request; it operates within ‌Meta‘s existing AI app, Goal AI. While the feature isn’t yet available within the⁤ goal AI app in Spain, ⁣users there⁣ can access Vibes through the “Explore” web tab at ‍ meta.ai. ⁤This move‌ signals⁣ Meta’s significant investment⁣ in generative AI and its ambition to‍ capture a share‍ of the burgeoning short-form video market, ⁣increasingly dominated by platforms‌ embracing AI-driven creativity.

Vibes distinguishes ⁢itself by focusing ⁢solely on AI-created visuals, offering ‌a unique space for experimentation and modification. Users aren’t⁤ limited to pre-existing content; they can leverage AI to bring entirely new video concepts to life. ‌The platform’s flexibility extends to allowing alterations of any aspect of a video – even transforming a‌ kitten video⁣ into a Golden Retriever‍ puppy, demonstrating the extent of its modification capabilities. This ⁣launch underscores a broader ⁣trend within social media, where AI is no longer simply a tool for ⁤recommendation or moderation, but ⁢a core⁤ component of ‌content creation itself.
